I spent many hours today exploring the grounds of this city. 'Tis indeed a lot of territory to cover, but I found my task enjoyable nonetheless. I had the pleasure of meeting a rather engaging man by the name of Baralai when I happened upon the church; I believe I lost much time being with him, though I regret it not.

Thanks to Zachary, I have obtained a position aiding the patrol of Lumiere. I will begin my duties tomorrow at first light.
